Because the ASG Nanoswift™ biosensor is silicon-based, measures electrically (vs. optically), and has a smaller form factor, we expect it to carry a 15X lower cost than an ELISA test.

Electrical measurements deliver a faster result than optical measurements in a test defined by the time for the protein to bind to the antibody — less than 15 minutes.

Our innovation of silicon + electrical measurement enables many small subsensors to be packed onto one chip and be isolated from each other. As a result, a single silicon biosensor can perform many different protein tests.
